It Starts With a Mood
Sometimes it is a sketch. Other times, it is a texture, a line from a song, or a moment of silence that makes us uncomfortable in the best way. That is where the process begins — with inspiration that does not shout but lingers.
We do not mood-board in a traditional sense. Instead, we collect fragments: visuals, fabrics, forms, and feelings. These shape the raw identity of each drop — minimal at first glance, complex up close.
Sketch, Scratch, Repeat
There is a lot of trial but even more error. But that is the beauty of it.
We sketch. We scratch it out. We redraw. We test silhouettes that feel just slightly off because that is where the magic tends to happen. We lean into asymmetry, into clean aggression, and always ask: Does this say something real?
Some pieces evolve over weeks. Others hit instantly. But they all go through this messy middle — a phase we do not clean up for the show.
Translating Vision to Wearability
Once the design direction is finalised, we translate ideas into technical drawings, refining shapes and proportions and sourcing fabrics that align with our ethos: ethical, durable, and understated.
Here is where the DRAZN tension begins to emerge - sharp vs. simple, statement vs. staple. We take into account not only how each cut, hem, and seam will look but also how it will work and move on a real body.
Made for Real Life, Not Stockrooms
DRAZN does not mass-produce. We create on demand — a deliberate choice to reduce waste and honour the integrity of each piece.
Once a design is finalised it is made available for print and production only when ordered. This way, nothing is created unless it has a place to go — someone to wear it and a story to tell.

Ethical Fabric Choices
Sustainability is not just a buzzword at DRAZN – it is a core part of our design process. We carefully source fabrics that align with our ethical standards and aesthetic vision.
This often means working with innovative materials, from recycled polyesters to organic cotton. We are always on the lookout for new sustainable fabrics that do not compromise on quality or style.

Our final step is production, but we do things a bit differently at DRAZN. We have adopted a made-to-order model, creating pieces only when they are purchased.
This approach has several benefits:

While this model may result in slightly longer wait times for customers, we believe it is worth it. It allows us to create clothing that is not just worn but truly valued.
